-    Counselling Program – The pastor/s or the leadership can be trained not only theologically but also in psychological and counselling skills to help an individual recover from the distressing effects of a broken marital relationship.

-    Teaching Program – A teaching for Christian couples who find it impossible to live together any longer in the relationship and choose to separate for a time, but there must be clear guidelines in the circumstances based on Scriptural teachings and applications: (1) to remain single, until healing or recovery takes place and (2) The educating through scripture of God’s purpose for marriage as a sacred and permanent covenant (1Corinthians 7:10-11).

-     Website Program – This is a great advantage in technology that can be executed by the Church. The site can be easily log on to anywhere, anytime from one’s laptop, iphone, ipad or computer. Making it effortless to speak with a designated counsellor at specific times.  The Website can serve in numerous ways such as a question and answer segment, a blog, an educational tool for the membership on the effects of divorce and separation. A teaching tool especially to the membership cultivating a right attitude that God forgives all sins, including those of divorce and separation.  A supportive tool for divorced and separated persons and members of their families. The pastor can post segments of inspiration, for example like a shepherd and sheep metaphor, so that he reaches the sheep especially the ones that are isolated or too  self-conscious to seek help.  The possibilities are endless and can be effectively creative.

-    Mentorship Program –  Voluntary, dedicated  Marriage Mentors and Role Models in the church who qualify to work with the divorced or separated to empower, follow-up  and assist  them to recover and rise above the challenges of divorce or separation.

-    Self-Care Program – Teaching high-quality self-care habits after the divorce or separation, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically.  With good nutrition, regular exercise and proper sleep, relaxation methods, recreation, management of time and instructing how to minimize stress and anxiety.
